Dear Melissa and Neil,
Thank you for your warm hospitality on our recent family country
experience at your lovely cottage.
You contributed to our stay in such a positive way. The cottage
was wonderful! Your attention to detail with the decor was welcoming
and instantly relaxing. The atmosphere was harmonious and so
peaceful. It was just what we needed!
The kids totally enjoyed seeing the farm animals, the pool and
just strolling around in the evenings enjoying the sunsets and night
sky.
We will definitely be coming back again.
With thanks,
Kathy, Trevor, Hannah and Adam King — Blackburn, Melbourne
It's almost time to leave the Coach House B&B at
East Mt. Mitchell, and my partner and I are feeling sad. Over the
past week that we've been on holiday here, life has slowed down...we
turned off our phones, stopped watching TV and forgotten about the
outside world. There's something about the smell of clean country
air and the vast expanse of the landscape that makes you feel a
sense of wonder, a kind of enchantment with life that's all too easy
forgotten with everyday city living. Waking up to cows and sheep and
the sounds of beautiful birds is quite a contrast to the traffic in
inner city Melbourne
It was fantastic having the full kitchen to use as
we could make our own meals every night and sit out in the private
courtyard. You don't need to bring food for breakfast, that's for
sure, as we were provided a wide range of delicious breakfast
options. We were really excited to be so close to the many wineries
in the Pyrenees region. It was short trip down the road to the Quion
Hill winery in Waubra, where we sampled a number of delicious wines
and marvelled at their wide selection of jams, preserves and home
made olive oil.
We can thoroughly recommend staying at the Coach
House to refresh your senses and sample the best of what country
Victoria has to offer. The B&B offers a nice balance between
complete privacy and the option of engaging in farm life. Thanks
Melissa and Neil – we look forward to staying with you again soon!
